Sudeikis not only spent quality time with Jayhawks fans but also made lively appearances with the Kansas band. Notably, he joined in on the cheers with the cheerleading squad, even acquiring a set of pompoms for added enthusiasm.
Kansas’ NIL collective shared the delightful news on social media, stating, “The newest addition to the cheer squad for tonight’s game @jasonsudeikis!! Rock chalk.”
Although originally born in Virginia, Sudeikis moved to Kansas with his family and considers it his home state. His deep-rooted connections to Kansas proved fortuitous as the Jayhawks secured a victory against UConn with a final score of 69-65, improving their season record to 7-1. Looking ahead, the Jayhawks won’t encounter another ranked team until January, but with Sudeikis’ spirited support, they appear poised for a promising season ahead.
