During the Wednesday, October 9 episode of their New Heights podcast, the brothers discussed the results of a poll where fans overwhelmingly voted for them to watch Lively’s 2005 movie The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as part of their newly formed film club. The poll was part of a segment where Jason and Travis encourage listeners to pick a movie for them to watch and discuss.
“The winner by a huge margin, of course, is Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, or whatever,” Jason said. Travis, always ready to correct his older brother, responded, “Say it right, Jason,” while also adding with enthusiasm, “Dude, you are gonna love this movie!”
Jason, not as easily convinced, joked, “A movie about pants and sisterhood—two of my least favorite things.” But with a more serious tone, he added, “I mean, I got a bunch of daughters. I guess I’m warming up to sisterhood.”
Jason speculated that Taylor Swift’s dedicated fanbase, affectionately known as Swifties, likely had a hand in skewing the movie poll toward Lively’s film. “All I know is, Jake [the producer] threw in a bunch of other movies that he knew would take votes from each other so the Swifties could dominate the poll,” Jason explained, referring to other films like Spaceballs, Goonies, and Necessary Roughness, which ended up splitting votes.
Travis, who has been dating Swift for the past year, seemed thrilled by the outcome. “I’m excited to watch. I think we planned on watching this together,” he told Jason, who was still unsure about the movie. Jason responded, “What in the title makes you excited to watch this movie?… Do you even know anything about it?”

“I don’t know. It has Blake Lively in it, and she’s cool,” Travis replied, signaling his genuine interest in the actress.
Jason chimed in with his own admiration, saying, “Listen, I love Blake.” Travis agreed, adding, “I like watching films with people that I’ve met and I know.”
This isn’t the first time Blake Lively has been a part of the Kelce brothers’ conversation. Over the past year, Travis has developed a friendship with Lively, who is one of Swift’s closest friends, as well as her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. Jason and his wife Kylie Kelce also had the chance to spend time with the couple at Swift’s home in Rhode Island earlier in August.
On August 24, Travis and Swift were seen in Rhode Island, with Lively and Reynolds later joining them, along with Jason, Kylie, and Bradley Cooper, who was spotted in the area as Swift wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour.
Swift and Travis have continued to support each other publicly. Swift was seen cheering on Travis at the Kansas City Chiefs’ recent win over the New Orleans Saints, just days after Travis celebrated his 35th birthday. The couple posed for photos backstage, joined by their close friends, including comedian Andrew Santino, who shared some of the moments on Instagram.
With Blake Lively’s film now lined up for the Kelce brothers’ movie night, it’s clear that the bond between the Kelces, Swift, Lively, and their wider circle continues to grow.
