Jason Kelce is on it.
Sunday night in Las Vegas, Jason Kelce seemed to be having the time of his life after his brother’s Kansas City Chiefs secured victory in the Super Bowl. In fact, throughout the entire playoffs, Jason Kelce appeared to be enjoying himself more than anyone else, a fact that didn’t surprise his wife Kylie.
Kelce’s enthusiasm reached its peak on Sunday night when he was spotted dancing to a Taylor Swift song while sporting a luchador wrestling mask along with his signature red and gold Chiefs overalls.
However, a twist emerged when a family from Dallas publicly contradicted Kelce’s account. They claimed that their son, Elijah Smith, an eighth-grade student, encountered Kelce after the Super Bowl and allowed him to wear a mask signed by Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie.
According to Elijah, Kelce wore the mask for quite some time before eventually wandering off, still sporting it.
Despite Elijah’s efforts to retrieve the mask, the dense crowd prevented him from reaching Kelce. Subsequently, videos surfaced on Instagram showing Kelce wearing the mask at subsequent after-parties, indicating that he had not removed it all night.
Given the sentimental value of the mask, Elijah and his family expressed their desire to have it returned before the start of the season, emphasizing its significance as a good luck charm. Kelce, upon learning of the situation, responded on social media, assuring that “Operation ‘Get Elijah His Mask Back'” was underway and expressing his gratitude for bringing the matter to his attention.

Reflecting on the incident, Kelce mentioned on his podcast how finding the luchador mask had truly transformed the night, describing it as an unforgettable experience. Elijah, meanwhile, expressed his hope that Kelce would autograph the mask before returning it.
Ultimately, it seems Elijah will receive more than just the mask back, as Kelce is determined to make amends for the unintentional commandeering of the cherished item.
