After Jason Kelce admitted earlier this week that he never washes his feet, Defense Soap, a company specializing in antifungal medicated soaps, has reached out with a care package offer.
This offer came just days after Kelce was playfully criticized by actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence following his surprising revelation.
Defense Soap, based in Cleveland and sharing Midwest roots with Jason, saw an opportunity to promote hygiene, especially given their focus on products designed for athletes involved in contact sports.
Guy Sako, the CEO of Defense Soap, expressed his eagerness to support a hometown hero, suggesting that their products could keep Jason’s feet fresh, whether on the football field or off.

“Being a Cleveland-based company specializing in contact sports hygiene, we understand the importance of cleanliness,” Sako said via TMZ.
Sako also mentioned an alternative for Jason, offering wipes for a quick and easy cleaning solution, acknowledging that regular foot care might seem cumbersome to the former NFL star.
Jason’s unusual stance on personal hygiene first made waves last week during a candid discussion where he also mentioned his aversion to cleaning his belly button or getting pedicures. On social media platform X, Jason argued against the necessity of washing every part of the body frequently, citing skepticism of mainstream hygiene practices influenced by the soap industry.
The topic resurfaced on the “New Heights” podcast, hosted by Jason and his brother, Travis Kelce. Travis admitted to occasionally washing his feet post-practice when really needed, while Jason reiterated his minimal approach, only attending to his feet for practical reasons like toenail clipping.
This hygiene debate even caught the attention of pop star Taylor Swift in 2019 during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” where she discussed her own routine of leg washing, highlighting that she shaves her legs daily, effectively using shaving cream as soap.
