Jason Kelce recently discussed how his brother, Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce, has remained unchanged despite the massive increase in fame following his relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Speaking on the “Whiskey Ginger with Andrew Santino” podcast, Jason praised his brother for maintaining his humility and authenticity.
“He’s stayed true to himself; he’s still humble, he treats everyone with the utmost respect like they’re equals, regardless of who they are,” Jason shared. Since going public with their relationship last year, Travis and Swift have been at the forefront of both the sports and entertainment worlds, attracting significant media attention.
Their relationship began while Swift was touring the U.S. with her Eras Tour. Despite their hectic schedules, Swift supported Travis from a suite during the NFL season and even rushed from a concert in Tokyo to watch him play in the 2024 Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
Travis has also been seen supporting Swift at her concerts around the world. “Trav is a very comfortable person in almost any scenario. He’s such a unique individual. I’ve never seen him uncomfortable anywhere,” Jason added.

However, Jason acknowledged the impossibility of leading a “normal” life under such circumstances. He compared his own experiences with public attention to those of his brother and Swift, noting, “This is a whole other situation here. … Like, you can’t be a normal person at that point.”
The conversation also touched on an incident involving Jason’s wife, who faced a verbal altercation with a fan over a refused photo opportunity, highlighting the pressures of public life. The fan, Andreé Goldberg, later apologized for her behavior.
Jason concluded that despite the changes brought on by his brother’s high-profile relationship, the core values of the Kelce family remain intact. “I don’t think anybody has changed really,” he stated, emphasizing the family’s ability to adapt while staying true to themselves.
