Jason Kelce’s Super Bowl ring has mysteriously disappeared following an unusual incident during a live fan event.
Jason and his brother Travis Kelce hosted a unique gathering at the University of Cincinnati on April 11 for their podcast, New Heights. The event featured the Lombaby Games, a playful tournament that included a pool filled with chili.
In a recent podcast episode, Jason shared the backstory of one of the games, which involved digging through the chili to find replicas of his 2018 Super Bowl ring. He jokingly noted that the game was inspired by his tendency to misplace his ring. However, he revealed a startling twist: “And I don’t even know if Travis still knows this, but I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event. They could not find it.”

Jason explained that the pool contained “socks with some make-believe rings” and one real ring—his actual Super Bowl ring. Despite efforts to retrieve it the next day, the ring remained lost. “We have still yet to find it,” he lamented, believing it ended up in a landfill after the event.
Reflecting on the disappearance, Jason speculated that the sock containing his ring might have been accidentally kicked out of the pool and discarded. He has since reported the loss to his insurance company, although he humorously acknowledged that the claim might raise eyebrows given the circumstances of the loss.
“But, yes, the Super Bowl ring is officially gone,” he shared, adding that he’s already flagged the incident to his insurance company. “We’ve already put the insurance claim in, which I think the insurance company might have some things to say about whether they’re gonna do that.”
Travis humorously commented on the situation, cautioning fans, “Kids, if you’re watching at home, do not do what Jason’s doing. Don’t do this.” He also mentioned the unpleasant smell of the chili pool, which added to the bizarre nature of the event.
Despite the unfortunate loss of the ring, the brothers described the live event as an “amazing” experience, thanking the 13,000 fans who attended for making it an electrifying occasion.
