Jason Kelce is reportedly considering an offer to appear on “Dancing with the Stars,” with the retired NFL star expected to make his decision in the coming weeks.
Kelce, who retired from the NFL earlier this year after a distinguished 13-season career with the Philadelphia Eagles, has remained active in the sports world. He co-hosts the immensely popular podcast “New Heights” with his brother, Travis Kelce, and serves as a TV analyst for ESPN.
According to The Sun, Kelce has been approached to join season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The 36-year-old is said to be enthusiastic about the opportunity, eager to showcase his dancing skills on the popular reality show.
The full lineup for season 33 of “Dancing with the Stars” is expected to be announced by the end of this month, and Kelce is reportedly weighing his options and will decide soon. The show, which is filmed in Los Angeles, is set to premiere on September 17, just two weeks after the start of the 2024 NFL season.

Professional dancer Jenna Johnson has already expressed her support for Kelce’s participation. She suggested that both Jason and his wife, Kylie Kelce, could join the show, possibly pairing up with Johnson’s husband, Val Chmerkovskiy. “He just retired. It’s the perfect thing. If his wife wants to do it with Val, we could do that,” Johnson said.
Kelce recently made his debut on ESPN’s “NFL Countdown,” sporting a beret alongside Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, and Marcus Spears. “I’m still on Paris time so I had to go with the Paris headdress,” Kelce quipped when asked about his unique outfit.
The retired NFL star had been in France this summer, supporting Team USA during the Games. Jason and Kylie Kelce were seen cheering on Simone Biles and the USA women’s gymnastics team as they clinched gold in the team competition. They also showed their support for the USA women’s rugby sevens team, which secured a podium finish.
As Kelce contemplates his next move, fans are eager to see if he will trade his football cleats for dancing shoes and bring his charisma and competitive spirit to the dance floor.
