The Kelce brothers’ worlds continued to intersect as they recorded their ‘New Heights‘ podcast from across the pond.
Jason and Travis Kelce shared their experiences in England, where they attended Taylor Swift’s concert and met the British royal family.
For the retired NFL offensive linemen, a pop concert might be unfamiliar territory, and meeting royalty was equally novel.
The brothers recounted their encounter with Prince William, admitting they were uncertain about the proper greeting protocol.
Although Jason mentioned they were told bowing or curtsying wasn’t necessary in an unofficial setting, he still addressed the Duke of Cambridge as “Your Royal Highness.”
“I’ve never felt emasculated, and I did,” Jason confessed. “That was the closest I’ve ever been.”
“I’ve never seen you give someone that much respect,” Travis responded. “You put your beer like 10 feet away from you.”
Travis described Prince William as the “coolest,” and Jason agreed, calling him “a good dude.”

This marked a shift in Jason’s stance on the royal family, as he had previously stated that he was “out on honoring kings” because Americans “don’t do royalty.”
“It’s hard to be a down-to-earth human being, I would assume, but [they] came off that way completely,” Jason said.
While he found meeting Prince William “fantastic,” Jason said the highlight was meeting Princess Charlotte.
“She was so f****** adorable,” he declared. “Like I cannot express how — I don’t know, maybe it’s because I have three girls now. She had fire to her. She was asking questions. That was the most electric part.”
