Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is eagerly anticipating his upcoming summer wedding in California with fiancée, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Christen Harper.
In a recent conversation with The Post, Goff expressed excitement about the wedding preparations and his partnership with Jared Jewelers, celebrating the 2024 NFL Draft hosted in Detroit.
“She had a fantastic time at her bachelorette [party] with her friends, and we’re deep into planning the wedding,” Goff remarked. He playfully admitted to taking a backseat in the preparations, contributing mostly when his opinion is sought. “I’ve been fairly uninvolved… but I’ll give my input when asked,” he shared with a laugh, praising Harper’s handling of the wedding details.
Goff especially enjoys planning the reception’s culinary and entertainment aspects. Harper’s recent bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas featured yacht outings, themed nights, and playful temporary tattoos of Goff’s face, adding a fun touch to the celebration.
The couple’s engagement in June 2022 was a milestone, with Harper sharing her joy on Instagram alongside images of her stunning engagement ring. They first connected via a dating app in early 2019, solidifying their relationship as Goff prepared for Super Bowl LIII with the Rams.
Harper’s rise in the modeling world, including her recognition as Co-Rookie of the Year by Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2022, is a source of pride for Goff. He admires her ambition and her involvement in charity work, including her support for animal welfare and mentoring young girls through positivity workshops in Detroit.

Since Goff’s trade to the Lions in 2021, the couple has embraced the Detroit community, actively participating in local charities. Their recent efforts include a $50,000 donation to Give Merit and gifting Breitling watches to superfans, mirroring Goff’s gesture to his offensive line after a historic playoff victory.
As Detroit hosts the NFL Draft, Goff is excited but patient, with the Lions holding the 29th overall pick. “We don’t pick until late in the first round, so we’ll have to wait a little while,” he said.
The 2024 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN and ABC, marking another chapter in Detroit’s sporting calendar and Goff’s personal life.
