During an interview on Detroit’s 97.1 The Ticket, Lions quarterback Jared Goff dismissed Skip Bayless’s recent social media post criticizing the team’s chances against the 49ers in the NFC Championship game.
When asked about bulletin board material, Goff interrupted the host, stating he doesn’t care about anything Bayless says and urged to skip over comments from daytime TV pundits.
“Does bulletin board material matter to you guys at all?” Goff was asked on “Karsch & Anderson.”
“Depends what it is. What do you got?” Goff replied.
“Skip Bayless, after your game, tweeted out the following…,” host Doug Karsch told Goff.
Before he could even finish, Goff stopped the host dead in his tracks.

“No, I don’t care about anything he says. You can stop now,” Goff said while interrupting the host. “Anything those guys say on daytime TV, you can skip over that.”
Bayless, a Cowboys fan, had previously predicted a blowout for the Lions in the upcoming game.
On the NFC side of the quarterback spectrum, the discussion around the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft remains a contentious topic as he gears up to compete against a player once discarded by Sean McVay, who is reshaping his career with every passing week.
Despite defying odds to reach this point, the Lions seem unfazed by Bayless’s opinions as they prepare to face the 49ers in the postseason.
