Where will James Harden land for his next team?
Despite opting into his $35.6 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, James Harden is actively seeking a trade partner, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks, both playoff teams from last year, are among the many suitors interested in acquiring Harden.
It was long rumored that the Houston Rockets could be a potential landing spot, but recent reports suggest they have decided not to pursue him.

Additionally, the Phoenix Suns are no longer in the running for Harden after acquiring Bradley Beal in a three-team trade. In the 2022-23 season, Harden led the league with 10.7 assists per game and averaged 21.0 points for the Sixers.
However, his performance in the playoffs was inconsistent, particularly in the second-round series against the Boston Celtics, where he scored fewer than 20 points in five of the seven games. Any trade involving Harden is likely to require additional assets from the 76ers to make it happen.
As the team seeks the right mix to complement league MVP Joel Embiid in his prime, they are back to the drawing board.
