Joe Burrow, the quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals, is eager to return to the field after being sidelined with a strained calf during training camp nearly two weeks ago.
The injury occurred when he scrambled out of the pocket and required him to be carted off the field.
Over the past 12 days, Burrow has been resting and regaining his strength with the goal of being ready for Week One. Even his teammate, star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, recognizes Burrow’s dedication to the team despite his current absence. “He’s definitely stubborn.
“He’s definitely hardheaded. He’s a tough person and he’s trying to give his heart to the team and you can’t blame him for that,” Chase said.

He’s a resilient individual who is determined to give his all for the team, and you can’t fault him for that,” Chase remarked. The Bengals have proven to be one of the top teams in the NFL with Burrow in good health.
Over the past two seasons, they have made consecutive appearances in the AFC Championship Game, even reaching the Super Bowl once.
If Burrow can make a strong comeback, there is a high possibility that the team can extend their streak of AFC Championship Game appearances to three in a row.
