Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Jalen Hurts, is not ready to move on from his loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the recent Super Bowl, and rightfully so.
Despite his team making it to the big game in his third year and his own impressive performance, Hurts is determined to go even further and bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Philadelphia.
Evidence of his determination can be seen in a photo from an Eagles training camp meeting, where Hurts has set the lock screen on his iPhone to a picture of himself walking off the field after the heartbreaking defeat.

While this has garnered some criticism online, it is clear that Hurts wants to use the pain of that loss as motivation for the upcoming season.
In the Super Bowl, Hurts played exceptionally well and outperformed Patrick Mahomes statistically. However, the Philadelphia defense was unable to stop the Chiefs’ quarterback, failing to sack him even once.
This was partly due to the challenging turf conditions, but Hurts refuses to use it as an excuse. The Eagles are counting on Hurts to lead them back to the championship next season, although they will face different challenges.
It is commendable that Hurts is taking steps to motivate himself for the upcoming demanding campaign. Only time will tell how it will all unfold.
