He announced his plans to launch a project that would bring the spirit of Black Wall Street to the city, aiming to address the wealth disparity issue. Brown cited data suggesting that bridging the wealth gap could have positive effects on the entire economy. He emphasized the need to discuss the unsettling reality of Boston’s high wealth disparity, which ranks among the top five in the country.
“I want to launch a project to bring Black Wall Street here to Boston,” Brown said in part. “I want to attack the wealth disparity here. I think there’s analytics that support that stimulating the wealth gap is something that could be a betterment for the entire economy. “With the biggest financial deal in NBA history, it makes sense to talk about, one, your investment in community. But two, also, the wealth disparity here that nobody wants to talk about.”

Through leveraging his platform and collaborating with influential partners, government officials, and selected leaders, Brown believes it is possible to generate new opportunities and resources, while also highlighting the experiences of minorities and improving the economy.
He envisions a fully integrated and self-sufficient Boston, serving as a model for addressing wealth disparity not only in the US but also globally.
Brown’s goals include tackling the wealth gap, spearheading a project, stimulating the economy, and bringing Black Wall Street to Boston.
