Julia Leerdam, speedskating champion and Jake Paul’s girlfriend, has expressed some concern about Paul’s upcoming fight against legendary boxer Mike Tyson, scheduled for July 20th and set to be streamed on Netflix.
In a recent episode of Paul’s Betr podcast, Leerdam joined the discussion about the fight, asking her boyfriend about potential scenarios, particularly if Tyson were to knock him out.
She admitted her worry, stating, “But what if he knocks you out? Is that your last fight? I just want to get the scenarios.”

Leerdam revealed that she would be upset if Tyson were to knock out Paul, leading the couple to agree not to dwell further on the topic.
Despite Leerdam’s concerns, Paul himself appears confident about the upcoming fight, expressing that he doesn’t feel nervous. He attributed this to his experience as an active participant in various arenas for many years, stating, “Like I don’t even get nervous. The nerves are not even there anymore.”
Paul also made a lighthearted remark, referring to Tyson as “Iron Mike” but asserting his own resilience with the quip, “You’re Iron Mike Tyson but I have an Iron Chin.”
