Jake Paul, having achieved success in professional boxing with nine wins in his first ten fights, is preparing for the most significant challenge of his career.
He is scheduled to face the former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson later this year. Despite Tyson’s extensive experience, Paul is confident and believes Tyson should be the one concerned about the outcome.
Paul has declared he won’t ease up on Tyson, who is 31 years his senior, asserting his intent to knock out the legendary boxer in what he promises will be “an embarrassing fashion” if the opportunity arises.
“I have to reciprocate that same energy,” Paul told TMZ, aware that Tyson would likely aim to do the same to him. He added, “But Mike Tyson is a killer. He’s ruthless. He’s the most vicious champion ever. So, I have to channel that Mike Tyson energy to finish him. And the legend must fall.”

The bout is set to take place at AT&T Stadium in Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys, on Saturday, July 20. This event will mark Netflix’s first foray into live boxing broadcasts, with millions expected to watch.
Paul has consistently drawn large audiences, with his pay-per-view events attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers. Tyson, known for his formidable presence in the ring during the 1980s and 1990s, remains a significant figure in pop culture, particularly among younger fans.
The upcoming match will test whether Paul’s youth and ambition can triumph over Tyson’s seasoned prowess in the ring.
