The Jacksonville Jaguars probably weren’t too thrilled to hear that their former wide receiver Calvin Ridley has signed with the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans, but at least one of their current wide receivers received some good news.
Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones was arrested last November on misdemeanor domestic battery charges.

However, those charges have now been dropped after investigators reviewed the evidence, according to TMZ.
According to the police report, Jones allegedly got into an argument with the mother of his child.at a Jacksonville-area condo.
The woman told police that a dispute broke out after she told Jones that she was taking their child from Jacksonville to Orlando.
The report said that officers ‘observed several small scratches on the victim’s neck consistent with marks from a fingernail.’
In his second season with the Jaguars, Jones struggled with injuries as he only played in eight games recording 274 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns on 28 receptions.
Jones will presumably have a bigger role in the offense in 2024 with fellow wide receiver Calvin Ridley’s departure.
