Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Jack Jones played a crucial role in his team’s unexpected 20-14 triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday, culminating in a bold and impactful move.
With the Raiders holding a 9-7 lead in the second quarter, courtesy of a touchdown from a recovered fumble, Jones seized the moment. On the Chiefs’ first play following the touchdown, Jones intercepted Patrick Mahomes, swiftly returning the ball 33 yards for another touchdown, extending the lead to 17-7.

Celebrating his achievement, Jones sprinted towards the fans and engaged in a playful act with a young Chiefs supporter. He mimicked the gesture of handing over the ball, only to execute a classic “psyche!” maneuver by retracting it.
The unexpected twist left the young fan and their family anticipating a memorable Christmas gift, only to be met with Jones’ clever move.
Although Kansas City managed to score a late touchdown in the fourth quarter, it proved insufficient. The Chiefs now share a split season series with the Raiders and hold a 9-6 record with two remaining regular-season games. Securing a victory against either the Bengals in Week 17 or the Chargers in Week 18 will grant Kansas City the AFC West title.
On the other hand, the Raiders, currently standing at 7-8, have clinched consecutive victories.
