Looks like Ja Morant is a Glock guy.
Davonte Pack, while under oath, testified that Ja Morant owns a Glock 40 firearm. Davonte Pack and Ja Morant share a deep friendship that dates back to their childhood in Sumter, S.C. Both hailing from the same hometown, they graduated from high school in 2017.
During their formative years, Pack and Morant teamed up on the South Carolina Hornets AAU basketball team, where they also played alongside Zion Williamson, who currently plays as a forward for the Pelicans.
Pack recounted telling Morant during an incident last July, where Morant was pulled away from Joshua Holloway,
“You shouldn’t be involved in this. We shouldn’t be involved in this.” according to the Memphis Commercial Appeal
The main issue for Morant is that no one involved denies that he punched Holloway during a confrontation over a pickup basketball game at Morant’s parents’ residence.
The same holds true for Davonte Pack, Morant’s close friend and co-defendant in this case.
Both can only argue that Holloway initiated the altercation by throwing the ball at Morant’s face during a “check ball situation.”
The legal documents and testimonies related to this case have already disclosed Morant’s living situation, car purchases, and potential business deals to the public.
Through Pack’s testimony, it was revealed that Morant had plans to participate in paid club appearances in different cities during the offseason, with Pack receiving a portion of the earnings.
While this is not illegal, one can imagine the negative impact that a continuous stream of photos and videos showing Morant drinking across the country would have on his public image.
Ja’s image needs a PR overhaul.
