Pat McAfee found himself apologizing to Jimmy Kimmel once again after New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers made another Epstein-related joke on the ESPN show. Unaware that Epstein would be mentioned again, McAfee addressed the escalating feud between Rodgers and Kimmel at the beginning of his program on Wednesday, acknowledging the possibility of legal action from Kimmel.
During a guest appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” the same day, former NFL defensive end J.J. Watt seized the opportunity to inject humor by discussing Jeffrey Epstein. In a seemingly random comment, Watt emphasized his lack of knowledge about the Epstein list, humorously stating, “I don’t want any flights. I don’t need anybody calling me out. I don’t need any lawsuits. I know nothing.”
The remark elicited awkward chuckles from the cast, with Watt seen laughing at his own joke, and McAfee reacting by covering his face with his hands.

Epstein, a millionaire associated with celebrities and politicians, faced legal issues in 2005 for allegedly paying a 14-year-old girl for sex. In 2008, he pleaded guilty and served 13 months in a jail work-release program. Epstein was charged with sex trafficking in 2019 and died in jail while awaiting trial. The circumstances of his death have sparked various conspiracy theories, with some speculating that he was killed by someone else or is still alive on an island.
The recurring mention of Jeffrey Epstein on their show is raising concerns about the appropriateness of such references.
