Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson recently became a father for the first time, as his fiancée Jada gave birth to a baby boy. While the baby’s name and birth date haven’t been publicly disclosed yet, it’s a joyous moment for the Indianapolis star.
Richardson’s journey to fatherhood seems to have begun around a month after what appears to have been Jada’s baby shower, where Richardson proposed to her.
Jada proudly displayed her engagement ring on Instagram, along with photos capturing the heartfelt moment when Richardson popped the question.
Recently, Richardson was spotted publicly showing support for the Florida Gators men’s basketball team during an NCAA Tournament game against Florida in Indianapolis. Jada shared her excitement about becoming a mother on her Instagram story, expressing how blessed she feels.
Throughout her pregnancy, Jada shared glimpses of her baby bump on Instagram, including moments from a luxury box at a Colts game against the Raiders at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Richardson, who was the No. 4 overall pick by the Colts in the 2023 NFL Draft, had a promising start to his rookie year before it was cut short due to a shoulder injury that required season-ending surgery. Despite competition from other quarterbacks like Joe Flacco, Richardson is expected to remain the starter for the Colts in his second year.
As for Jada and Richardson’s wedding plans, no public timeframe has been disclosed yet.
Looking ahead, the Colts will face tough competition in the improving AFC South in 2024, with teams like the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars expected to contend for the division title.
