The Indiana Pacers triumphed in their intense first-round playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks, and Tyrese Haliburton took the opportunity to savor the victory.
The Pacers concluded Milwaukee’s playoff run with a decisive 120-98 win in Game 6 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Following the victory, Haliburton playfully jabbed at Bucks veteran Patrick Beverley on social media.
Earlier in the series, Beverley, when asked about his observations on defending Haliburton, dismissively replied “nothing” and suggested that reporters should “check the numbers.” After clinching the series, Haliburton posted a video of Beverley’s dismissive comments with the caption “Con man. Flip from above the rim.”

This caption referenced a previous dispute between Beverley and Damian Lillard.
Beverley and Lillard, once intense rivals, had exchanged heated words during the NBA bubble season in 2020, and their verbal sparring continued into the last season. Lillard had notably criticized Beverley on social media, calling him a “con man” and comparing him to “Flip,” a character from the 1994 film “Above The Rim” portrayed by Bernie Mac.
Although Beverley and Lillard appeared to reconcile after Beverley’s trade to Milwaukee, Haliburton’s post indicated a playful reminder of their past conflicts.
