Caitlin Clark’s rookie season has been challenging, as the Indiana Fever dropped to 1-8 following a 103-88 loss to the Seattle Storm.
Despite her team’s struggles, Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, continues to perform admirably.
She tallied 20 points, nine assists, and three rebounds in Thursday night’s defeat.
After the game, Clark voiced her frustration with the WNBA officiating.

Meanwhile, Fever coach Christie Sides attributed the team’s defensive woes to a lack of practice time.
“I just think we’ve not had the practice time,” Sides stated. “That has a lot to do with it. 103 points is just too many.”
Sides’ remark is contentious given that all teams had equal practice time before the season commenced.
Fans on social media weren’t impressed.
As the Fever aim for their second win, they will face off against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky this Saturday.
