Caitlin Clark is in the midst of her transition to the WNBA level as the Indiana Fever’s No. 1 overall pick.
The former Iowa superstar faced some challenges in her first few games, and head coach Christie Sides has introduced a straightforward rule to help her adapt.
“I gave her a rule the other day. She’s got 0.5 seconds to make a decision,” Sides explained after the Fever’s second regular-season game. “She has a habit of hanging out and dancing. That’s what she’s done. It’s those habits that we’ve got to break.”

Clark has shown gradual improvement since her WNBA debut, where she had 10 turnovers against the Connecticut Sun.
Recently, she scored a career-high 22 points in a loss to the New York Liberty.
The Fever, currently 0-3, are seeking their first win of the season and will face the Sun again on Monday night.
The game will tip off at 7 p.m. ET in Indiana and will be broadcast on ESPN.
Sides has received some criticism early on due to the Fever’s struggles as a team.
Most recently, controversial sports media personality Jason Whitlock called for the Fever to be on the phone with former NBA head coach Mark Jackson.
Although the results aren’t there right now, it is likely too early for the Fever to consider making any major changes right now.
