Wolverine has been tamed in the presence of pop royalty.
Hugh Jackman hilariously recounted his experience attending a Kansas City Chiefs game with Taylor Swift, describing it as a humbling ego check.
“If you ever really want to kinda not feel great about your career, go to [an NFL] game with Taylor Swift and Blake Lively — and then you’re Blake Lively, Taylor Swift and others at the game,” Jackman, 55, quipped to People at the “Deadpool & Wolverine” premiere on Monday night.
Ryan Reynolds echoed Jackman’s sentiment, adding, “We’re just and others.”
The dynamic duo attended the Chiefs game on October 1 to support Swift’s beau, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the team. Joining Swift in the suite that day were her friends Sophie Turner and Sabrina Carpenter, as well as Lively’s sister Robyn.
The “Greatest Showman” star marked the memorable evening by snapping an epic selfie with Reynolds, Swift, and the “Gossip Girl” alum.

Jackman admitted to the publication that he hopes to attend another game this fall, saying, “You don’t say no to that.” Reynolds added, “Fortunately, these A-listers likely will get another chance as Swift reportedly plans to go to as many Chiefs games this upcoming season as her Eras Tour schedule will allow.
The “Cruel Summer” singer managed to catch 13 — her lucky number — games last season, including the Super Bowl. Swift famously flew from Tokyo to Las Vegas to watch the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers.
Kelce spent his offseason vacationing with Swift and attending numerous dates of her Eras Tour across the globe. The NFL star even brought his brother, Jason, and sister-in-law, Kylie, to Swift’s concerts in London, where they had the opportunity to meet Prince William and his royal children.
“They were absolutely a delight to meet,” Travis gushed. “I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hands, like, ‘Sup, dude.’ We wanted to be polite.”
As the new NFL season approaches, fans and A-listers alike are eagerly anticipating more of these star-studded game days, blending the worlds of sports and entertainment in unforgettable fashion.
