While on the set of Kay Adams’ FanDuel show Up and Adams, a hot mic leaked Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield’s 2024 free agency plans as he was speaking with NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young.

Here’s video of the conversation in which Mayfield makes a comment about “getting some (Bucs) pieces back” and responds positively when asked by Young if he was in the right spot with Tampa:

If not extended, Mayfield would be one of the top quarterbacks available on the open market.

Given the surprising success that Mayfield had in his first season in Tampa, it’s safe to assume that he will be back under center for the Buccaneers in 2024 as they look to make the playoffs once again.
