As a society, we find ourselves increasingly distant from our core values, with the rise of artificial intelligence making it challenging to retrace our steps.
This past weekend, a Miami Dolphins fan became an internet sensation when images circulated of a woman at the stadium wearing a provocative white outfit that exposed her breasts. The frenzy that ensued on social media was immense. However, it’s now been revealed that this woman is not real; she’s a product of artificial intelligence.
The tweet accompanying her image simply says, “Go Dolphins.”
She also sent out a congratulations following the Dolphins big week one win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Hailey Lopez boasts an Instagram following of over 18,000 and counting, but she is not a genuine individual. She is a computer-generated profile, and it seems that people are largely unfazed by this revelation.
What remains indisputably real is Tua Tagovailoa’s tumultuous journey during the 2022 NFL season, marked by several injury setbacks that caused him to miss multiple games and a potential playoff opportunity. Tagovailoa managed to throw for 3,548 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2022, despite being sidelined for four games due to concussions.
The Dolphins experienced an impressive 8-1 record in his initial nine starts last season, but momentum shifted later on. Hopefully, his added strength and improved ability to absorb hits will assist him in 2023.
