ESPN reporter Holly Rowe became an overnight sensation on Thursday night during the Florida-Utah game when she demonstrated the use of oxygen on the sideline.
Yes, you read that correctly.
In the midst of the exciting game in Salt Lake City, Rowe presented a bottle of oxygen that Florida quarterback Graham Mertz and several others were using.
“This is portable oxygen. This is a personal bottle of oxygen – watch,” Rowe explained as she took a puff from the bottle. “That just gave me a shot of oxygen right to the system.”

Kirk Herbstreit was clearly impressed by this device.
“Wow,” Herbstreit exclaimed. “How about that, huh? That’s impressive, we need that for our crew workers on the road.”
Rowe has been an indispensable part of ESPN’s college football coverage for numerous years. Just like the oxygen bottles on Florida’s sideline, she provides the network with a breath of fresh air when it comes to sideline reporting.
Expect to see more of Rowe throughout the 2023 season.
