That’s certainly a different look for Travis Kelce, one that Taylor Swift probably isn’t used to seeing.
The superstar tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, who has been making headlines due to his blossoming romance with Taylor Swift, surprised everyone at his Friday press conference by walking in with the headgear of Iowa State’s Cy the Cardinal mascot covering his face.
However, Kelce didn’t keep it on for long. After entering the room, he promptly removed the mascot headgear and greeted everyone, saying, “Go Cyclones.”
It turns out that Kelce lost a friendly bet when his alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, suffered a 30-10 defeat by Iowa State on October 14. Chiefs’ Vice President of Communications, Brad Gee, attended the game, and the wager was made.

“Another friendly wager,” Kelce explained. “Unfortunately, my Bearcats are struggling right now in the Big 12. It’s all right; we got Baylor this week.”
During his time at the University of Cincinnati, Kelce emerged as one of the nation’s best tight ends. However, Cincinnati is currently at the bottom of the Big 12 conference with a 2-4 overall record and 0-3 in the conference.
During his senior season at Cincinnati, Kelce recorded 45 receptions for 722 yards and eight touchdowns. He was subsequently drafted by the Chiefs in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft and has gone on to become one of the NFL’s greatest tight ends.
His recent relationship with Taylor Swift has propelled his stardom to new heights and has become one of the most talked-about stories in the world of sports.
Swift has been seen attending Chiefs games with Kelce’s family and has been spotted spending time together around town and at Kelce’s place. People are now more curious than ever to learn more about Travis since he’s dating America’s beloved pop star.
