Donna Kelce is gearing up to savor Super Bowl week in Las Vegas, taking a different approach from last year’s media frenzy when both her sons were playing against each other.
This time, it’s only Travis representing the Kansas City Chiefs against the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium, and Donna will be accompanied by her eldest son, Jason, as they cheer him on.
In an interview with People ahead of Sunday’s game, Donna expressed her intention to fully enjoy the experience this time around.
“This year I’m going to take a step back to enjoy it. I get to enjoy it this time,” she remarked. She plans to indulge in the Vegas experience, catching some shows, and enjoying the city’s vibrant entertainment scene, possibly arriving as late as Thursday.
Last year, Donna sported a unique 50-50 jersey blending red and green to support both of her sons as the Chiefs faced the Eagles, ultimately emerging victorious. Emotional scenes unfolded as she consoled Jason on the field before celebrating with Travis amidst the crowd.

With Travis’s relationship with Taylor Swift adding an extra layer of spotlight, speculation swirls around whether the singer will make it back from Japan for the game, where she’s currently on her massively successful Eras Tour.
During a press event in Vegas, Travis remained coy about Swift’s travel plans, joking about whether there would be room for her private jet. When asked if having his famous girlfriend in attendance adds pressure, Travis emphasized his intrinsic drive, stating, “You can’t put on any more pressure than I put on myself.”
He also noted the new faces Swift has brought to the game, describing her as part of the Chiefs kingdom and expressing joy at seeing her enjoy football.
For Donna, Travis’s situation seems to have granted her the freedom to relish the Super Bowl build-up in her own way. Travis has arranged a villa near the team hotel, offering a potential celebration spot should the Chiefs emerge victorious.
