The Buffalo Bills suffered another disappointing loss on Sunday night, this time to the Cincinnati Bengals, with a final score of 24-18. The Bills now stand at 5-4, but their recent performance shows a record of 2-3 over the last five games and, more importantly, a 2-4 record within the AFC.
This team entered the season with high expectations, and it appears increasingly likely that they may miss the playoffs for the first time since 2018, which was Josh Allen’s rookie season. While injuries have played a role in their struggles, there’s a growing sentiment that the offensive issues might be linked to Josh Allen’s relationship with Hailee Steinfeld.

Online discussions have started to place some blame on Hailee or, at the very least, have suggested that she could be a contributing factor.
However, the main issue doesn’t appear to be the defense, which is not currently in the elite tier. Over the past five weeks, the Bills have allowed an average of 22 points per game, and given their offensive talent, they should be winning these games. Unfortunately, the offense has managed to score 25 or more points only once during this stretch.
The responsibility lies with the offense, and head coach Sean McDermott will need to implement some significant changes this week if the Bills aim to salvage their season.
Josh Allen doesn’t need to take any drastic measures concerning his girlfriend, especially considering they are set to spend Thanksgiving together. It’s unlikely that Hailee Steinfeld can be held accountable for the Bills’ struggles.
