Olsen, in the commercial, suggests using Fireball Whisky to cope with frustrating moments in the game, such as questionable calls by referees. As part of the comedic script, he jokes, “Potentially losing your job that you’ve been pretty good at?” followed by a deliberate pause. “Fireball.”
The lighthearted remark is a tongue-in-cheek nod to the speculation about Fox bringing in Brady to replace Olsen as an analyst, despite the popularity of Olsen’s partnership with play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt. Olsen, however, clarified earlier in the week that he and Kevin make a great team, expressing confidence in their collaboration and dismissing concerns about losing his job.
