Quarterbacks have always held a special place in the hearts of many women.
On Saturday, Graham Mertz had an exceptional performance. The Florida Gators’ quarterback led his team to a significant victory over the 11th-ranked Tennessee, with a final score of 29-16, marking the team’s tenth consecutive home win in the rivalry series.
Following the game, Mertz added a sweet moment to his evening by sharing a kiss with his girlfriend, Alexis Loomans, who was present at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville to witness the triumph.
The following day she donned her “Sunday’s Best”
During the game, Mertz displayed his prowess by completing 19 of 24 passes for 166 yards and notching a touchdown. Trevor Etienne delivered an outstanding performance, rushing for a career-high 172 yards and securing a touchdown, while Montrell Johnson found the end zone twice. The game concluded with a heated altercation involving players from both teams.
Mertz took a knee but took offense when Volunteers defensive lineman Omari Thomas collided with him. This led to benches clearing, and a confrontation between Tennessee’s defensive back Kamal Hadden and Florida’s Micah Mazzccua.
It’s worth noting that the Vols were 6 1/2-point favorites heading into this matchup.
