Gisele Bündchen felt “deeply disappointed” by the jokes referencing her former marriage to Tom Brady during his Netflix roast, according to a source who spoke to PEOPLE.
The model was particularly upset about the disrespectful depiction of her family at the event, which aired on Sunday evening. “Her priority is to support her children, who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcast,” the source mentioned.
The event, titled “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady,” took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, and featured Brady as the guest of honor. Celebrities and former teammates, including Kevin Hart, Julian Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Nikki Glaser, Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss, and Kim Kardashian, delivered a series of roasts.
During the roast, Hart joked about Bündchen’s new boyfriend, her jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente. Glaser and others also made light of Brady’s recent divorce, with Glaser quipping, “You have seven rings. Well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back.” Both Bledsoe and Edelman joined in with remarks about the couple’s past relationship.

Brady and Bündchen, who share two children, son Benjamin, 13, and daughter Vivian, 10, finalized their divorce on October 28, 2022. Brady also has a son, John “Jack” Edward, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Amid the levity of the roast, Bündchen has been actively involved in relief efforts for her home state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, which is currently facing severe flooding. “This past week, Gisele has been tirelessly dedicated to aiding those in need,” the source added. Bündchen also used her platform to raise awareness and support for the disaster through an Instagram post on May 4, directing her followers to donate via the brazilfoundation.org for the Light Alliance Emergency Fund.
