Georgia tight end Brock Bowers is set to turn professional this week, and he is widely expected to be a first-day selection in the 2024 NFL Draft.
The John Mackey Award winner has had a stellar college career and is projected as a top-10 pick.
Although Bowers was invited to attend the draft in Detroit, he chose to decline the invitation. It is anticipated that he will instead watch the draft from the comfort of his home, surrounded by family and his girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell.
Bowers and Newell have been in a relationship since 2021, and she has often shared their moments together on Instagram. The latest photo of the couple was posted last November, celebrating Georgia’s victory over Ole Miss.

Newell currently enjoys a following of over 9,300 on Instagram, a figure that is likely to grow should she gain more exposure during the draft broadcast.
Over three seasons at Georgia, Bowers caught 175 passes for 2,538 yards and scored 26 touchdowns, making an immediate impact from his freshman year and establishing himself as a standout player.
The NFL Draft is scheduled to start this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, and many are eager to see which team Bowers will join as he starts his professional career.
