Georgia Bulldogs star quarterback Carson Beck has officially confirmed his relationship with social media sensation Hanna Cavinder. Beck, who is entering his senior year and is poised for a standout season, opened up about his personal life and football journey in a recent interview with ESPN.
Reflecting on how his life has evolved since Georgia’s back-to-back national championships in 2021 and 2022, Beck shared insights into the challenges and growth he’s experienced. During those championship seasons, Beck was a backup, patiently waiting for his moment to shine. That opportunity finally came last season when he was named the starting quarterback.
“A lot has changed since 2021,” Beck told ESPN. “You know, I’ve been through a lot, personally and through football. Sitting and waiting and not playing, and then getting last season to be able to start. Looking back today and being where I’m at now, I’m very appreciative and very thankful of the position that I’m in.”
Beck’s first season as a starter saw him lead the Bulldogs to the SEC Championship, where they fell to Alabama. However, they rebounded in spectacular fashion, dominating Florida State with a 63-3 victory in the Orange Bowl. Now, at 22 years old, Beck is back for his senior season with his sights set on winning a national championship, a potential Heisman Trophy, and a top spot in the NFL Draft.
“I came back to win a national championship,” Beck declared. “That’s my goal.”

Beyond his football aspirations, Beck has also been making headlines off the field. Rumors about his relationship with Hanna Cavinder first surfaced last month when her sister, Haley Cavinder, posted a video showing the couple holding hands. Though the video largely went unnoticed at the time, it fueled speculation about their relationship. Hanna, who is one half of the popular Cavinder twins, had previously mentioned her breakup from her ex-boyfriend on their podcast, Twin Talk.
“Hannah is newly single,” Haley mentioned in a September episode, leading to questions about how soon after the split she began dating Beck.
Despite the attention, neither Beck nor Cavinder directly addressed the dating rumors in their social media posts—until now. As their relationship becomes public, they are quickly being recognized as a powerhouse athletic couple.
