College sports may soon have a new power couple, as Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck appears to confirm his romance with Miami Hurricanes basketball star Hanna Cavinder.
On Sunday, the 22-year-old quarterback shared a series of summer photos on social media, including a snapshot of himself holding hands with Cavinder. Beck captioned the post with “gvo,” an acronym for “good vibes only.”
Speculation about their relationship began earlier this month when the duo got cozy during the Fourth of July weekend. A video shared on TikTok showed Hanna walking on the street with Beck’s arms wrapped around her. The video also featured her twin sister, Haley Cavinder, with her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson.
The Cavinder sisters have been in the spotlight since they first went viral on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic four years ago. Along with Beck, they are among the most followed personalities in college sports. Beck ranks as the eighth collegiate athlete with the highest Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) valuation at $1.4 million.

Carson Beck has been on Georgia’s roster since 2020, redshirting his first season. He served as a backup to Stetson Bennett during Georgia’s national championship victories in 2021 and 2022. Beck’s first full season as a starter saw Georgia’s impressive 27-game winning streak come to an end, missing out on the College Football Playoff.
However, the Bulldogs finished the season strong with a 13-1 record, culminating in a 63-3 win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl.
The Cavinder twins are entering their final college season, reuniting at Miami after a year away from the court to pursue other opportunities. “We both knew we had unfinished business on the court and wanted to give it one more shot, together,” Haley said earlier this month. She nearly played for TCU before de-committing to return to Miami in April.
