A Georgia Bulldogs football star, Trevor Etienne, found himself in legal trouble on Sunday morning as he was arrested on multiple charges.
Etienne, a prominent transfer from Florida, had recently joined the Bulldogs’ program after an impressive stint with the Gators. Despite being regarded as one of the top transfer prospects, Etienne’s arrest on Sunday morning overshadowed his athletic achievements.
According to reports, Etienne was booked at 4:35 a.m. local time on four misdemeanor charges, including driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and affixing materials that reduce visibility from windows and/or windshield. After posting a $1,883 bond, he was released less than an hour later at 5:27 a.m.

During his time with the Gators, Etienne showcased his talents by rushing for over 700 yards in consecutive seasons, in addition to accumulating more than 200 receiving yards over two seasons.
Despite his promising career trajectory, Etienne’s arrest has undoubtedly raised concerns. The Georgia Bulldogs program has yet to comment on the incident, leaving the situation with unanswered questions regarding the future of the standout running back.
