Georgia’s football program has faced yet another offseason incident involving a player’s arrest for driving-related offenses.
This pattern continued early Sunday morning when freshman wide receiver Sacovie White was arrested. White, a three-star recruit from the 2024 class, faced charges of “reckless driving” and “one-way roadway.”
According to a report by On3 on Sunday morning, White was processed at the jail at 3:04 a.m., managed to post a $26 cash bond within 16 minutes, and was released from custody at 4:04 a.m.

White had joined the Bulldogs as an early enrollee and participated in spring practices. He was part of the team’s preparations for their New Year’s Six bowl game against Florida State.
He initially committed to coach Kirby Smart’s program in October 2023, but this incident adds to the series of driving-related arrests that have occurred under Smart’s tenure.
