Free agent wide receiver Calvin Ridley is reportedly choosing between two AFC teams to play for in 2024.
In his first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023, Ridley had 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Jaguars did sign wide receiver Gabe Davis, formerly of the Buffalo Bills, to a three-year contract on Monday, but are still hopeful that they will re-sign Ridley.

According to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, the New England Patriots are the other team that is pushing for Ridley’s services in 2024.
“On WR Calvin Ridley, it’s down to the Jaguars and Patriots, per sources. There have been other teams involved, but the current likelihood is Ridley will be deciding between Jacksonville and New England. Both teams feel they’re in it.”
The Patriots are desperate for some playmakers at the wide receiver position as their leader in receiving yards in 2023 was rookie Demario Douglas who only had 561 yards and have been expected to “swing big” for a free agent wide receiver such as Ridley.
With the addition of Davis, the Jaguars have plenty of depth as far as receiving options go even without Ridley as wide receiver Christian Kirk, tight end Evan Engram, and wide receiver Zay Jones will all be returning in 2024.
