After departing ESPN, many have been eager to learn about Sage Steele’s next career move. This week, the suspense was finally lifted.
Steele unveiled the inaugural episode of “The Sage Steele Show” on her newly established Sage Steele Podcast YouTube channel. Notably, her podcast has found a home within the Club Random Studios podcasting network, spearheaded by renowned comedian and talk show host Bill Maher. To kick off her show, Steele welcomed UFC President Dana White as her first guest.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the venture, Steele stated, “I’m thrilled to finally announce ‘The Sage Steele Show!’ Allowing others to share their stories and speak their truth has been a priority for me throughout my career. So, to have a platform that encourages candid, vulnerable conversations with people whose refusal to be silenced empowers others is truly a dream come true. I’m beyond excited to team up with Bill and the Club Random team!”

Maher echoed Steele’s sentiments, highlighting her as the ideal candidate to lead the network’s lineup. He humorously quipped, “She’s the perfect choice to be our first new host because, like me, she pissed off Disney. There’s a certain poetic symmetry to that.”
Maher’s reference to “pissing off Disney” alludes to Steele’s departure from ESPN following controversial comments made during the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in her being sidelined by the network.
Despite the setback, Steele has now found a new platform to amplify her voice and continue engaging in thought-provoking conversations.
