Former Philadelphia Eagles stars LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson are not Chip Kelly fans.
Both played for Kelly during his unsuccessful stint as their head coach from 2013 to 2015.
Here’s what McCoy and Jackson had to say:
WOW… Former #Eagles coach Chip Kelly was “UNCOMFORTABLE DEALING WITH BLACK PLAYERS,” according DeSean Jackson & LeSean McCoy.
Jason Peters on Kelly, “BULLSH*T A*S GUY.”
DeSean Jackson also called former Eagles offensive lineman Jason Peters during the podcast who called Kelly a “bulls*** a*** guy.”
After a successful career at Oregon, Kelly made his way to the NFL and while he did post a 10-6 record in his first two seasons with the Eagles, he was fired before the final regular season game in 2015 with the Eagles sitting at 6-9.
Kelly then headed to the San Francisco 49ers which lasted only one season as at one point the 49ers lost 13 straight games in 2016.
Kelly went back to college football but found very little success as UCLA’s head coach from 2018 to 2023.
Currently, Kelly is the offensive coordinator for Ohio State after leaving UCLA following the 2023 season.
