Former New York Jets scout Daniel Kelley has made it well-known that he’s not a believer of USC quarterback and presumed first overall pick in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft Caleb Williams.
Kelley operates the X account @firstroundmock as he evaluates NFL draft prospects.
In January, Kelley posted a scathing scouting report on his account which ripped Williams to shreds.
Now he’s doubling down on his report by disparaging Williams’ Pro Day.

Williams looked great during his Pro Day, but Kelley obviously wants to point to the fact that many other not so successful NFL quarterbacks also looked good on their Pro Days.
It’s safe to say that Kelley is not a fan of Caleb Williams.
Among Kelley’s most noteworthy predictions was the success of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy.
“Purdy showed me more in his game against Texas than QBs Kenny Pickett and Sam Howell showed me all season.”
