Chandler Jones, currently without an NFL team, continues to exhibit questionable behavior.
The free agent defensive end recently posted a video on his Instagram account showcasing the process of getting a tattoo. In the final reveal, Jones displayed the word “Messiah” inked on his head.
Jones was released by the Raiders on September 30, following his second arrest in less than three weeks for violating a temporary protective order.
Throughout the offseason, Jones experienced conflicts with the Raiders. He expressed his grievances in an unusual Instagram rant before the season, alleging that the team had locked him out of the facility and was attempting to provoke him. Jones also claimed he was involuntarily admitted to a mental health facility and shared handwritten letters penned during his time there.
The 33-year-old has not participated in any games this season. In the previous season with the Raiders, he accumulated 38 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries in 15 games.
Over the course of his career, Jones has earned four Pro Bowl selections, one with the Patriots in 2015 and three with the Cardinals in 2017, 2019, and 2021.
