ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky had the opportunity to display his arm prowess during the Precision Passing challenge at the 2024 Pro Bowl.
Despite being away from the NFL since 2017, Orlovsky, at 40, showcased a performance that defied his time away from professional football. Remarkably, he outperformed both Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts, all while throwing passes in his business attire.
Even though Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers eventually secured victory in the Precision Passing challenge, it was Orlovsky who captured the spotlight on social media.
One fan expressed disbelief, stating, “Bro better than Jalen Hurts,” prompting an appeal for assistance from an Eagles fan. Another fan humorously suggested, “Baker was lucky Dan wasn’t in the competition.”

A third fan playfully remarked, “Thank god there wasn’t an end zone line behind ya,” acknowledging Orlovsky’s sharp appearance.
Orlovsky’s NFL career concluded with 3,132 passing yards, 15 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. Notably, he was part of the 2008 Detroit Lions team that endured a winless season at 0-16.
In his post-NFL journey, Orlovsky has swiftly become a beloved figure at ESPN, earning favoritism among fans for his engaging and insightful contributions.
