Davis, who was selected as the 25th pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, played for teams including the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, and Buffalo Bills until his retirement in 2018, which famously occurred mid-game. In November of the previous year, Davis reached a plea deal after being charged with driving under the influence in Broward County, Florida. Earlier this year, he was involved in a car accident in South Florida, resulting in further legal repercussions.
Despite his achievements on the football field, Davis’ life was not without its struggles, as evidenced by his legal troubles and untimely passing.
