Taylor Reimer has a need for speed.
The former college cheerleader has charted an unconventional path from cheerleading to the racetrack, but she’s proving that she’s ready to make her mark in NASCAR.
A former cheerleader for the University of Oklahoma, Reimer graduated with a degree in health and exercise science before transitioning into the world of racing.
Now, as part of the Toyota Racing family, Reimer is determined to carve out a place for herself in the sport. In a recent interview, she highlighted the importance of female representation in NASCAR and expressed her admiration for the support she receives from her fellow female drivers.

“I think it’s really cool what Toyota is doing for females around the sport,” Reimer stated. “As females, there’s not a lot of us in the sport, and I think it’s important that we stick together and just really try and break barriers in the sport.”
Reimer made her debut at the Chili Bowl in 2021, and in 2024, she’s set her sights on the ARCA Menards Series. With two dirt races on her schedule, along with occasional returns to the midget racing scene, Reimer is eager to showcase her skills on the track.
“I’ve got two ARCA races, they are the dirt ones this year,” Reimer revealed. “Along with that, I’m going to go back and still do some midget stuff just whenever I have an off-weekend, there’s some tracks I really enjoy racing at. I’m going to go back and do some of those as well.”
As Reimer continues her racing journey, only time will tell if she has what it takes to excel on the dirt track. But one thing is for certain: Oklahoma fans will be cheering her on every step of the way.
