Lindsay Shiver, a former Auburn cheerleader, has been arrested in the Bahamas for allegedly planning the murder of her husband, Robert Shiver.
Robert, a former Auburn football player and current executive vice president of Senior Life Insurance Company, found himself caught up in a tragic situation.
Despite this deeply troubling event, Lindsay still managed to maintain an active presence on Instagram, showcasing a seemingly idyllic life.
However, little did anyone know that beneath the surface, their family vacation in the Bahamas would take a drastic turn.
Lindsay, once an Auburn cheerleader, now found herself facing a court trial for attempted murder.
She was apprehended with two accomplices, one of whom was purported to be her lover, named Terrance Bethal.
“Local police unearthed texts that detailed the plot while they searched the phone of a suspected burglar at Grabber’s Bar and Grill in Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas earlier this month,” the New York Post reported.
The trio were arrested in Abaco and later transferred to Nassau.
Interestingly, Lindsay’s plan was unveiled by chance, as the Bahamian police stumbled upon the conspiracy while investigating an unrelated case.
Prior to this shocking revelation, Robert had already filed for divorce upon learning of Lindsay’s affair with Bethal.
What would have become of their plot had the police not intervened remains unknown.
