Occasionally, a defeat can spill over into the tunnel, and such was the case on Sunday when the Bills handed the Jets one of their most significant losses of the season, prevailing with a score of 32-6. Post-game tensions flared between players from both teams, culminating in a reported brawl in the tunnel leading to the locker room.
According to Connor J. Hughes of SNY, the scuffle involved Buffalo’s Dion Dawkins and New York’s Micheal Clemons, who had engaged in a skirmish late in the game, resulting in Dawkins receiving a penalty for unnecessary roughness.
Hughes notes that an unidentified Bills player was overheard taunting the Jets after the game, saying, “And we beat that ass, too!”

Frustrations had been building throughout the game for the Jets, with the offense struggling to find momentum and the defense conceding the highest point total of the season. At one point, Sauce Gardner was penalized for a suplex tackle on Stefon Diggs.
Footage of the incident was shared by Otis Livingston of CBS2 New York, depicting the tensions spilling over into postgame activities, particularly in the tunnel.
The Sunday game marked the final regular-season meeting between the Jets and Bills, with each team securing one victory in their season series. They previously clashed in Week 1, a game that New York won 22-16.
