Recently, it has become apparent that Jonathan Taylor, the star running back for the Indianapolis Colts, will not be playing for the team anymore.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Colts have given Taylor permission to seek a trade.

Taylor is in the final year of his rookie contract and can become a free agent in 2024.
According to DraftKings, the Miami Dolphins are the frontrunners to acquire Taylor, with the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens following behind.

It was reported by NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport that Taylor requested a trade after meeting with the team owner.

It seems only a matter of time before Taylor’s wish is granted. The Dolphins would be a fitting destination for Taylor since they have not had a 1,000-yard rusher since 2016. They also have a strong receiving duo in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, making Taylor a valuable addition to their offense.
In the 2021 season, Taylor led the league in rushing yards and touchdowns, even though he missed six games. Despite this, he still managed to have a significant impact on the field.
